Abstract
Winged words used in the Belarusian language are quite often transformed in speech, which prevents the adequate perception of their form and meaning by native speakers, generates their repetition in speech in a modified form, prevents the correct understanding of their content and use in appropriate contexts. The article presents the results of the analysis of the most typical transformations of winged words in literary and artistic and journalistic texts. The purpose of the research is to establish and lexicographically describe in linguistic and normative aspect the main types of transformations in speech of winged words used in the modern Belarusian literary language. More than 9.000 literary, artistic and journalistic texts served as the actual research material, from which about 1.500 cases of transformations of winged words were selected. The study determined that winged words are transformed in speech, where their structure and semantics change. Winged words are modified in speech and in cases where they are used as intertexts. In speech, the lexical components and syntactic form of winged words change. Most cases of transformation of the analyzed winged words (about 90%) are not described in Belarusian phraseology, they are also absent in explanatory dictionaries of the modern Belarusian literary language. The transformations of lexical components of winged words (shortening, expansion, substitution) are defined and differentiated. The syntactic transformations of winged words (parcellation, inversion, conversion to another type of sentence) are defined and differentiated. The semantic transformations of winged words(authorization, concretization, negation, etc.) are defined and differentiated. The intertextual transformations of winged words (mention of an image, use of keywords, use of a semantically marked part) are defined and differentiated. The principles of lexicographic description of winged words that are transformed in speech (on the basis of foreign language units) are developed.
