Abstract

Work has always been a key element in the development of society and the economy. It brings not only material benefits, but is also a source of self-realization and satisfaction. Everyone wants to feel useful and in demand, achieve success in their activities and receive recognition for their contribution. Considering the social and labor sphere, it is extremely important to conduct a thorough analysis of the processes and phenomena occurring in it in order to effectively prevent and mitigate negative consequences, which is especially relevant for the construction industry. In this regard, there is a need to develop a system capable of tracking the occurrence and interrelation of all key events and processes in this area that affect the conservation and effective use of labor. Such a system will help to identify the main problems and contradictions, which, in turn, will become the basis for more informed decision-making by construction organizations. Social and labor monitoring can be considered as a tool for performing these tasks. At the same time, the approach to creating a monitoring system will be based on a thorough analysis of the institutional environment, conducting sociological research, taking into account international experience and analyzing quantitative indicators, where decent work indicators will serve as the basis for the creation and development of this block. This article focuses on the design of a social and labor monitoring system in the construction sector. The aspects of the introduction and implementation of the concept of decent work in the Republic of Belarus are considered. The key indicators of decent work, which are of the greatest importance for the development of a mechanism for social and labor monitoring in the construction industry, are given. A comparative assessment of the values of the main indicators for a certain time period is also presented.
