Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of intercultural communication in general, in particular, Russia and Japan. The author refers to individual subjects related to the interest of Japanese cultural figures in Russia, the interaction and interpenetration of two cultures, the comparison of Japanese and Russian literatures, especially in the context of their active appeal to nature. The analysis allows us to conclude that all cultures, developing according to their own laws, to one degree or another, incorporate universal human values, which, apparently, makes the artistic images and concepts inherent only to them accessible to our perception, although there are many obstacles and difficulties along the way. Russia has always been open to the world, in the field of culture, it actively interacted with many peoples and states. The relationship to the outside world in Japan has always been ambivalent. But at the same time, the Japanese are distinguished by an amazing interest in the cultures of other peoples, which contributes to mutual cultural enrichment. And on the example of the plots cited by the author of this article, we can conclude that the Japanese and Russians are mutually interested in each other's cultures, as well as the stability of the Japanese interest in Russian culture.
