Abstract

The features and trends in the development of innovative activities of industrial organizations in the context of the formation of network structures are considered, methodological recommendations for the assessment and selection of product innovations in network structures are proposed, as well as a mechanism for implementing innovative activities in conditions of network interaction. Based on the results of the study, it was established that organizations that involve partners in innovation activities are most often able to produce innovations that are new to the market. However, it has also been established that when involving partners in innovation processes, in most cases a number of problems related to coordination and management arise. The article defines criteria and algorithm for evaluating and selecting product innovations in network structures. Based on the analysis of the results of the survey of heads of industrial organizations and production units, a number of indicators for each of the criteria were established and a matrix of management decisions on the development of innovative products in network structures “potential competitiveness of the product – conditions of network interaction” was proposed. The significance of the criteria was also determined based on the results of a survey of experts. The article was prepared with the financial support of the BRFFR as part of the research work “Development of innovative activity based on network interaction in a digital economy” (no. G23M-050 dated 02.05.2023). Keywords: network structures, product innovation, open innovation, innovative development, network interaction, selection of innovations, evaluation of innovations.
