Abstract

The article deals with the methods of popularization of science in a journalistic text based on the media texts of the magazine “Belarusian Dumka”. It has been determined that the popularization of a scientific test involves the presentation of scientific information in a form adapted for a mass audience, considering age, the level of preparedness for the perception of scientific information on a certain topic, the level of education at the cognitive, linguistic levels. It was revealed that the popularization of scientific information involves the observance of four principles implemented at the semantic, structural, speech and emotional levels through certain techniques. The analysis of methods of science popularization was carried out on the material of media texts of the journal “Belarusian Dumka”. It has been established that in “Belarusian Dumka”: 1) at the semantic level, an indication of the scope of the concept, a description of characteristics / properties / interesting features are often used; figurative means and analogies; dictionary interpretation; clarifying the interpretation of the word; etymological description of the phenomenon; 2) at the structural level, an understandable interesting title, a lead paragraph in the form of a question, explanation, historical background, indication of a shocking event, a narrative about the event, a review are presented; 3) at the speech level, there is an expression of the emotional and evaluative attitude of the author to the analyzed situation; 4) the principle of consistency and consistency is observed in each article. It is concluded that the analysis of methods of popularization of science showed that in the media text, the main genres of which are the genre of analytical journalism and journalistic, the presentation of scientific information is distinguished by emotional coloring, conciseness and informativeness, as well as compliance with the possible requests of readers and is informational and communicative. character.
