Abstract

The Republic of Belarus is pursuing an active social policy aimed at maintaining the level and quality of life of the population. At the same time, social policy depends on the political and economic situation in the country. The international situation and foreign policy guidelines are of great importance. In the Republic of Belarus, social policy is implemented in accordance with socio-economic development plans. Modern social policy is aimed at developing the potential of the country's population and ensuring a decent standard of living. The effectiveness of public administration and the functioning of the State itself can be characterized through the effective and efficient functioning of social policy. The main directions of social policy are broad. These are directly social protection of the population, economic security of the population, support for motherhood, children, etc. The State social policy covers the entire population of the country. Its main provisions, goals and objectives are, in practice, prescriptive and mandatory for implementation. The quality and standard of living are guaranteed by the State and an effective management system. The principle of the welfare State is paramount and fundamental to the entire system of public administration of the country. The article analyzes the formation, formation and development of the social policy of the Republic of Belarus.
