Abstract
The article is of a review nature and is a continuation of the study of the activities of the teaching staff of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute during the Great Patriotic War. The work is based on original documents stored in the history museum of the Belarusian National Technical University – The Charter of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute named after I. V. Stalin dated August 7, 1939, lists of the teaching staff of the institute as of November 1940 and at the beginning of 1941, as well as lists of the personnel of the institute as of January 1946 and June 1947. The article is devoted to the study of changes in the teaching staff of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute in the first post-war years compared to the pre-war period. The article summarizes data on the number and qualification characteristics of the management and teaching staff of the institute in 1940, 1941, 1946 and 1947, which allows us to trace the consequences of the war for the human resources of the educational institution. The article also examines the structure of the institute and the changes that occurred in its composition in the post-war period. The article provides information on the number of employees, distribution among departments and faculties, as well as the position of women in the team. This study allows us to better understand the personnel policy and internal structure of the institute during one of the most difficult periods of its history.
