Abstract

In the article, the theoretical and methodological foundations of the economic assessment of vegetation spontaneous formed on agricultural lands are explored. An analysis of methodological approaches to assessing agricultural land has been carried out. Plant resources have been studied as part of economic turnover. A conceptual approach to the economic assessment of spontaneous vegetation emerging on agricultural lands is proposed. A classification of spontaneous vegetation formed on agricultural lands is given. A methodology has been developed for economic assessment of the resource potential of spontaneous vegetation on agricultural lands. The methodology was tested on the example of land plots in the administrative districts of the Vitebsk region of Belarus. The methodology is intended for the development of a software and information complex “Plant resource government”. The methodology can be used to economically substantiate regional management decisions on the strategy for using fallow agricultural lands.
