Abstract

The article examines the main channels for posting media texts from petrochemical companies in Belarus. The Belneftekhim concern includes more than 60 organizations, a number of business entities are working to create a positive image in the media space. Such brands as “Belorusneft”, “Naftan”, “Belaruskali”, “Belshina”, etc. have become famous. It has been revealed that to create a positive media image of Belarusian petrochemical companies for the domestic audience of the country, media related to various segments are used. It has been established that an important area for the placement of media texts for Belarusian petrochemical enterprises are corporate newspapers (“Vestnik Naftana” (JSC “Naftan”), “Grodno Chemist” (JSC “Grodno Azot”), “Kaliyshchik Soligorska” (JSC “Belaruskali”), “Mozyr Oil Refinery” (JSC “Mozyr Oil Refinery”), “Neftyanik” (RUE “PO Belorusneft”), “Trudovaya Slava” (JSC “Mogilevkhimvolokno”), “Shinnik” (JSC “Belshina”), “Khimiki” (JSC “Belshina”) JSC “SvetlogorskKhimvolokno”), “Labor Shift” (JSC “Polotsk-Steklovolokno”)). In addition, the Belneftekhim concern publishes an image magazine “Bulletin of Belneftekhima”, which contains information both on the development of the petrochemical industry in Belarus and focuses on the successes of individual Belarusian petrochemical companies. It is alleged that a number of organizations of the Belneftekhim concern, as well as corporate media, have accounts on social networks and instant messengers with the posting of media texts. It was noted that one of the promising areas is to make CSR reports of Belarusian petrochemical companies publicly available.
