Abstract

Seven batches of prepreg binder with different contents of 2,4,6-tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol were produced for the production of test samples to determine tensile strength along the fibers. An analysis of the parameters influencing the bonding strength was carried out. Constant (wood species, humidity, ambient temperature, content of ED-20, phenol-formaldehyde resin, acetone, pressing time, pressing temperature) and variable (content of curing accelerator 2,4,6-tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol) factors were determined. Output parameter selected (adhesive strength). Misses were excluded from the samples. Statistical processing of the experimental results was carried out, the coefficient of variation, the root mean square error of the sample average and the accuracy indicator of the average value were calculated. Accuracy scores for all samples ranged from 1.14 to 4.07, indicating reasonable measurement reliability. A relationship has been established between the strength of the adhesive joint formed by the developed prepreg and the content of the curing accelerator. The optimal content of the curing accelerator in the binder composition was taken to be 1.25 parts by weight.
