Abstract

Designs for gas-centrifugal separation of large-dispersed suspensions are developed, which allow to separate liquid phase and drying of the material in one device, to provide necessary humidity of solid product of large-dispersed suspensions, continuity of filtering process of fine-dispersed suspensions, separation of crystallising suspensions. Thus high productivity, economy in manufacturing, simplicity in operation are reached. Experimental studies of the main stages of the separation process: flow-film thickening of suspension and dewatering of solid particles in the gas flow have been carried out. The dependence of the final moisture content of the solid product on geometrical parameters of gas centrifugal elements, particle sizes, loads on phases and their ratio has been revealed. The choice of the mode allows to provide the necessary final moisture content of the solid product of large-dispersed suspensions, continuity of the filtering process of fine-dispersed suspensions, separation of crystallising suspensions.
