Abstract

The article examines the areas of work to mobilize rural workers for the successful implementation of the national economic plans of the republic in the agricultural sector. Attention is drawn to the emerging new mobilization resources for the development of production initiative and labor activity of agricultural workers. The principles, goals, and objectives of socialist competition as an effective means of maintaining labor enthusiasm and forming comradely mutual assistance are analyzed. Attention is focused on the ideological support of the competitive process, aspects of improving its forms and methods, and mass political work among collective farmers and state farm workers. Examples are given of the successful involvement of workers of mass rural professions in the competition for a high culture of agriculture through strengthening the organizational component of labor competition and a skillful combination of moral and material incentives. The most successful organizational forms of competition that contribute to improving professional skills and individual creative development are identified and characterized. The issues of improving on-farm distribution relations, changes in the wage system and the use of best practices in the effective organization of labor of field mechanics and livestock workers have been studied. Conclusions are drawn about the effectiveness of the searches undertaken.
