Abstract

The main direction of furniture design development is the introduction of computer-aided design systems with the development of a three-dimensional model of the finished product, which reduces the duration of putting products into production and improves the quality of the products. The use of modern innovative technologies of virtual and augmented reality will strengthen the interaction between the consumer and the manufacturer and bring these relations to a new qualitative level. The introduction of developed systems and software products will help to reduce the duration of the design of wood products and wood materials, reduce the cost of material resources for the production of prototypes, increase the competitiveness of domestic products. The study of the processes of animation of virtual reality objects makes it possible to improve the perception of the qualitative characteristics of woodworking products by consumers. The methods of adding interactivity to furniture elements in a virtual environment considered in the article allow to improve the user experience when interacting with the product. The trajectory of the kinematic movement of furniture parts is analyzed and described, the features of the augmented reality technology are described, which offers a more advanced user interface for visualizing furniture objects, more natural ways to control virtual models at various scales, realistic animation display in real space.
