Abstract

The article deals with the application of subsidiary liability as a kind of civil liability, which allows to impose adverse consequences of default and harm caused by the main debtor additionally to another person who has a legal relationship with the main debtor. The relevance of the issues of application of subsidiary liability is due to the fact that it provides additional guarantees for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of creditors and creates favorable conditions for participants in civil transactions, especially for entrepreneurial and other economic activities. Subsidiary liability helps to minimize the illegal behavior of citizens in the implementation of entrepreneurial and other economic activities through the creation of a legal entity.
