Abstract

In this article the following data is analyzed: the matter of the IX International discussion forum “Anticounterfeit”, the report about the state of compliance practices in the sphere of protection of copyright in the Eurasion Economic Union in the year 2019. The author also got an insight on the other sources of information concerning circulation of infringing goods, laws: “About consumer rights” and “About patents on inventions, utility models, industrial designs”. The author analyzed administrative-tort, criminal and civil legislation that carries a liability for violation of intellectual rights of authors and patent owners as well as consumers.

Basing on the research that was carried the author comes to reasonable conclusions that illegal distribution of intellectual property items violates intellectual rights of authors, patent owners and consumers.
