Abstract

The article discusses the historical aspects of the development and formation of the concept of "labor resources" as the main factor in the development of production and the effectiveness of the management system. The transformation and evolution of the concept of "labor resources" characterizes changes not only in the production process. It is directly related to the state structure, historical factors that have a direct impact on the development of the state and the features of the formation of economic relations and structures.

The article also analyzes the concept of "human capital" as an analogue of the concept of "labor resources". However, it is noted that these concepts carry significant differences. In addition to the economic characteristics, "human capital" carries social and psychological aspects. In addition to the main characteristic as the main element of economic growth, human capital is the basis of human well-being, the acquisition and improvement of a certain social status, as well as the main incentive for self-realization.
