Abstract

It has been 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War with the seemingly invincible armies of France and the United States. The victory in this war was won by the Vietnamese people, led by talented generals. One of them was Vo Nguyen Giap, who, with no military training, was able to become a senior general, commander-in-chief of the armed forces of Vietnam and an outstanding strategist. The most interesting thing, according to military experts, is that Giap, without winning a single major battle with the US army, managed to achieve victory in the war. Such results of the war have no precedent in military history.
