Abstract

The article presents the results of substantiating the design of technological equipment for the collection of logging waste. In the course of the study, various natural-production conditions, base chassis, the place of installation of technological equipment, the choice of gears for performing operations of the technological cycle were considered. Depending on the gear ratio of the transmission of the base chassis, the energy efficiency of the process of collecting felling waste was determined depending on the gear, the type of soil, the place of equipment installation, work with or without a reduced gear. A comparative assessment of the energy efficiency of the operation of various base chassis has been carried out and the most rational number of teeth in the technological equipment for the implementation of the energy potential has been established. On the basis of the realization of the energy potential, the analysis of the conditions of movement when dragging a pack of a certain volume and the use of gear speeds when performing technological operations for the collection of logging waste is carried out. The main criteria affecting the operating efficiency of the base chassis and the number of teeth in the technological equipment are determined, depending on various natural and production factors, equipment installation option, pack volume, transmission gear ratio, travel speed, soil type.
