Abstract

The article shows the situation of Belarus from the beginning of 1915, including the time of retreat of the Russian army and before the stabilization time of the Western Front. Attention is drawn by an order of magnitude, the course and consequences of the evacuation of material values, as well as the emergence of the movement of refugees. The events of the military and civil authorities for the supply of Western Front and the means of army life support by the end of 1915 are reflected by state policy on the participation of the population in providing assistance to the front. The data on the peculiarities of the development of agriculture and industry in Belarus are given. An assessment of the importance of military and civil authorities in solving local problems is given.
