Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the labor market as a component of the economic security of the state. Today the labor market is the main element of the national and world economy, where the process of formation and distribution of labor resources takes place, taking into account the historical and evolutionary interests of society. At the present stage of highly developed economic development, the role of the labor market in the evolution of the economic interests of countries is constantly growing. Moreover, the current stage of development is associated with a new view of the labor force as one of the key resources of the economy and is one of the criteria for the country's economic and social security. The main indicators that may indicate the presence of certain risks to the economic security of the country are indicators such as the level of general unemployment, the decline in the working-age population, population migration, wages, and the crime rate. Based on the current state of the labor market assessment and the forecasts made, it is possible to develop effective methods to combat threats to the country's economic security.
