Abstract

The analysis of modern means of polygraphic protection of documents, allowing to protect a document from falsification, has been carried out. The article describes the types of protection of documents against falsification, summarizes the methods of special protection of printing most often used in open printing to protect against forgery of documents. The topic of the article is relevant, since reducing the “criminal” level of security of banknotes is one of the important tasks of the banking activities of all states. Therefore, the problem of protection against falsification of documents is of great state importance for the Republic of Belarus.

Future specialists, having familiarized themselves with the various techniques and technologies of special printing described in this article, will be able to independently develop new means of document protection, as well as technical means of operational control of the authenticity of documents.
